Art Foundation and/or Creative BA:

Applying to a creative course and/or an art foundation year requires a significant level of commitment and preparation as the competition is fierce.  Our specialised advising team can support all applications for submission to creative subjects, including fashion, art and performance art to the most selective schools around the world.   • Meeting with creative admissions consultant to develop an application strategy that best meets the applicant’s needs

Plan of Action & Time Productivity

  • Develop a tailor-made admissions plan for each student outlining requirements for portfolio mentorship / application preparation and relevant deadlines. This will include recommendations on activities that enhance candidacy.

How This Works in Practice

  • We meet regularly with the candidate and with increasing frequency as the admissions process intensifies. Meetings can take place in person or via Skype/Zoom. The process is fluid. Our goal is also to work in a highly collaborative spirit with families to lighten the burden and stress of the application process.

Meet the team

Charlotte

Charlotte is a Central Saint Martin graduate, whilst at her time at the university she was mentored by Kansai Yamamoto; showed her work at various venues such as the RA, Barbican and the British Museum and worked for Stella McCartney, Maison Margiela and The Pappyshow to name a few. She is an award winning artist and is currently working on a funded short film that features mechanical garments. 

Annalisa

Annalisa is a Central Saint Martins Fashion Print graduate, at her time at Central Saint Martins she designed garments for the likes of Artist Grayson Perry. After grading the course Annalisa has gone on to be a product developer  and designer specialising in fabrics and trims with experience in both commercial and luxury fashion. 

Poppy 

Poppy is a Central Saint Martins graduate, a national youth theatre member and theatre designer with an interest in art therapy. In recent years she has been tutoring students in fine art helping them to reach their full potential.

Kristina 

Kristina is an interdisciplinary artist and sound designer based in London. She’s driven by a curiosity about stories and how they can be interpreted or enhanced by sound and her practice explores the relationship between sound, story, space and listening in live environments.  She graduated from Central Saint Martins with a first class honours degree in BA Performance Design and Practice and has since been working as a sound designer in the London fringe theatre scene.
